m a business analyst perspective, performance management is a simple breakdown of the tasks that are performed to a granular level, deriving the competencies out of that granularity, and then assigning consistent quantifiable metrics to each competency, so that it can be observed and reported on consistently for each resource. Since we already defined the role of a business analyst, it is appropriate to start developing the details for each of the competencies before we get into the best scale for measuring performance.
