Adapting Governance and Performance Reviews
The measure of intelligence is the ability to change.
Within an organization, there are many processes beyond the team that can get in the way of a successful transformation to Agile. To achieve an Agile culture, it is recommended that you evaluate these processes to understand their alignment to the Agile values and principles and adapt as appropriate. Two of these processes that I have found can negatively affect an Agile culture are IT governance and performance review processes.

There are often processes that occur outside of the team that affect its ability to be successfully apply agile techniques. Governance and performance review activities are two such areas. To achieve and maintain an agile culture, you should evaluate these processes for alignment to agile values.
