Recently this “inbound” growth (in terms of size of the library and broadband of services) has been joined by an “outbound” growth that makes us German readers very happy: the German library. It’s great to know that SBO is willing to give us readers access to computing books natively written in non-English languages.

The choice of whether to use a video or book to meet a need is very much an individual decision; however, we do find that folks looking to learn something from scratch like to use the videos.

I have been a Safari Books online subscriber for a while now (company and now individually), and frankly I am not sure how I had lived without it. As a programmer I am continuously working with different technologies and platforms, and Safari has been one of my most valuable tools to keep me up to date with current technology. It is like the Mecca of continuous learning without the added cost, paper or space. Oh, did I mention the ability to search text in a single book or the entire library? How cool is that? Cut and paste code, bookmark, highlights, WOW , programmer's life just got a whole lot better. Safari Books online - tried and tested by a very satisfied programmer.

I spend tons of money on books every month to keep my skill set sharp. I had heard of Safari Books Online (primarily from the books I purchased) but never really tried it out. A few days ago I picked up a book on flash games. I decided to see what the hype was all about and what do you know? Every single title I owned was on Safari Books! I can have my complete library and more for a little less than one book! I've donated my paper books and am now a proud subscriber of Safari books Online! (And the mobile version is a huge plus!) Can't wait for the iPad app!

I love the idea of smart folders. I’ve been wondering for years why all the search and information sites as well as the major e-commerce sites don’t offer this feature-or even the Library of Congress for that matter! I want to be able to have available all of my queries as persistent objects that I can examine again without having to query again. Thanks for the innovative feature that makes your service the most outstanding of the e-book sites.
