In addition to his current work in strategy and corporate development, John Isley has held a variety of editorial and senior management positions in higher education at Prentice Hall, Allyn & Bacon, and Addison-Wesley Longman in the United States.

His experience also includes several years as the general manager of Simon & Schuster Europe and Prentice Hall Canada.
