Our Safari to Go Apps for Android and iOS devices have been available for a month and have rapidly become must-haves for many of our customers. To date, you've downloaded our new iOS app more than 20,000 times and our Android app more than 18,000 times. Soon we will be rolling out a new and improved user experience that includes some long-requested enhancements to our folder structure. The new interface is designed to provide easy access to your favorites, folders, searches and other critical content.

The 2012 Jolt Award ‘Best Books that every serious programmer should read’ winners were recently announced, and you can find all the winning titles in Safari Books Online. Of the six notable book finalists, four of the books were published by Pearson, one from O’Reilly, and one from Manning.

Enhancements to Folders and Favorites
Along with updates to the top navigation, Safari Books Online has made some significant enhancements to Folders and Favorites, based on many requests we’ve received from users. We now provide multiple levels of organization for your saved titles. Folders are now called Lists, and you can group your Lists of Favorites into specific categories (for example, "Training Videos to Watch" or "Books to Read on the Bus"). We're also serving up the new Folders and Favorites page with a friendlier, more dynamic interface that allows you to select multiple items in your Lists and drag them into other Lists all at once.
