designed to contain binary information encoded as a set of
hexadecimal values. The xs:hexBinary
values are lists of
representations of bytes, each one represented as a two-digit
hexadecimal number, so the only characters that may appear in
xs:hexBinary
values are the
numbers 0
–9
and the letters A
–F
and a
–f
.
