No books have been written specifically on NHibernate, but NHibernate benefits from its close association with Hibernate, about which a number of good books have been written. One good resource is:

  • Pro Hibernate 3, by Dave Minter and Jeff Linwood (Apress)

This work doesn’t cover the latest major release of Hibernate, but it’s still highly respected despite its age:

  • Hibernate: A Developer’s Notebook, by James Elliott (O’Reilly)

One of the best books available on general O/RM principles is often cited at the Hibernate site, which isn’t surprising since it’s authored by one of Hibernate’s creators:

  • Hibernate in Action, by Christian Bauer and Gavin King (Manning)
