End a work session on a Windows 2000 network.

Ctrl-Alt-Del → Log Off

Notes

Logging off closes any foreground applications that are running on the machine but leaves the operating system and network services running. This means that other users on the network will still be able to access needed services, such as opening files in a folder shared on the machine.
