Synopsis

Configure an incoming connection, create a new incoming connection, grant dial-in permission to a user, and monitor an incoming connection.

Procedures

  • Incoming connections on domain controllers and member servers are configured using the Routing and Remote Access console, which is opened by:

Start Programs Administrative Tools Routing and Remote Access

This article deals with creating and configuring incoming connections on standalone servers only. To learn how to configure incoming connections on domain controllers and member servers, see remote-access server in this chapter.
