If set, files and subdirectories are created with the same
permissions as their parent
directories. This allows Unix directory permissions to be propagated
automatically to new files and subdirectories, especially in the
[homes] share. This option overrides

mode, and force
directory
mode, but not
map
archive,
map
hidden, or
map
system. Samba never sets
the setuid bit when creating a file or directory.
