smbstatus

Synopsis

This program lists the current connections on a Samba server.

Options

-b

Causes smbstatus to produce brief output. This includes the version of Samba and auditing information about the users that are connected to the server.

-d

Gives verbose output, which includes a list of services, a list of locked files, and memory usage statistics. This is the default.

-L

Prints only the list of current file locks.

-p

Prints only a list of smbd process IDs.

-P

Prints only the contents of the profiling memory area. Requires that Samba has been compiled with the profiling option.

-S

Prints only a list of shares and their connections.

-s filename

Specifies the Samba configuration file to use when processing this command.

-u username

Limits the report to the activity of a single user.
