Synopsis
Allowable values: lmhosts, wins, host, bcast
Default: lmhosts, host, wins, bcast
Sets the order of lookup when trying to get IP addresses from names. The host parameter carries out a regular name lookup using the server’s normal sources: /etc/hosts, DNS, NIS, or a combination of these.
