Chapter 3Gathering Resources: That Rucksack Has a Lot of Pockets

So far we’ve covered a lot of ground, though we’re yet to cover the gritty details of applying what we’ve learned from the first two chapters. In this chapter, we’ll address how we can start to build the visual language of our design by gathering all the bits and pieces to use as reference materials. We’ll begin gathering design resources for our Spectrumagic project for two reasons:
  • To organize the intended visuals for our design and compile a set of source materials
  • To communicate our plans to the client
