Keep track of friends and family

If you find that following a flock of professional contacts and celebrities means you forget to connect with friends and family on Twitter, use a tool that helps you see their messages easily.

Three ideas:

  1. Grab the RSS feeds for your high-priority accounts (described in Chapter 1).

  2. Get phone updates just for the people whose messages you want to be certain you see (shown here and described in Chapter 1).

  3. Use TweetDeck (described in Chapter 3) or another third-party app that lets you group incoming messages.
