Deploying Packages
Generally, the best way to deploy a package by building a project deployment utility containing the packages you want to deploy. You then copy the deployment utility to the target server and run the Package Installation Wizard to install the packages to an instance of SQL Server 2005 or to the file system.
A deployment utility is a folder containing files needed to deploy SSIS packages onto a different server. You create the deployment utility on the computer on which the SSIS project is stored. The deployment utility is built using Business Intelligence Development Studio.
