CreateTimeSpan

Synopsis

CreateTimeSpan(days, hours, minutes, seconds)

Creates a date/time object for adding to and subtracting from other date/time objects. Here’s an example that creates a date/time object for one hour and thirty minutes and adds it to the current time:

<CFSET CurrentTime = Now(  )>
<CFSET TimeToAdd = CreateTimeSpan(0,1,30,0)>
<CFSET NewTime = CurrentTime + TimeToAdd>

<CFOUTPUT>
Current Time: #TimeFormat(CurrentTime, 'hh:mm tt')#<BR>
Time Span:  #TimeFormat(TimeToAdd, 'hh:mm')#<BR>
Current Time + Time Span: #TimeFormat(NewTime, 'hh:mm tt')#
