Name

ArrayResize

Synopsis

ArrayResize(array, size)

Resizes the designated array to a size as specified by the size parameter. For performance gains, this function is usually used immediately after creating an array with the ArrayNew( ) function to resize the array to its estimated size. Upon successful completion, ArrayResize( ) returns a value of True. Here’s an example that creates an array called Grades and then resizes it to 50 elements:

<CFSET Grades = ArrayNew(1)>

<CFOUTPUT>Grades contains #ArrayLen(Grades)# elements.</CFOUTPUT>
<P>Resize the array...<BR>
<CFSET ArrayResize(Grades, 50)>

<P><CFOUTPUT>Grades now contains #ArrayLen(Grades)# elements.</CFOUTPUT>
