Name
DROP FUNCTION
Synopsis
DROP FUNCTION [IF EXISTS] function
Use this statement to delete a user-defined function. The
IF EXISTS
keyword prevents error messages when the
function doesn’t exist. Instead, a note will be generated, which can
be displayed afterward by executing the SHOW
WARNINGS
statement. This statement requires the
ALTER ROUTINE
privilege for the function given,
which is automatically granted to the creator of the function.
