Name
DROP EVENT
Synopsis
DROP EVENT [IF EXISTS] event
This statement deletes an event. The IF
EXISTS
keyword prevents error messages when the event
doesn’t exist. Instead, a note will be generated, which can be
displayed afterward by executing the SHOW WARNINGS
statement. As of version 5.1.12 of MySQL, this statement requires the
EVENT
privilege.
