Using Video Clips

A bookmark defines only a starting frame to view. To define both a starting and ending frame to view, you can create a video clip. Unlike a bookmark that plays until it reaches the end of a movie, a video clip can stop playing at a specific movie frame.

Defining a Video Clip

To create a video clip, you need to define both the starting and ending frames of your clip:

  1. Find the specific frame at which you want your video clip to start.

  2. Move the pointer to the top of the screen to display the DVD Player menu bar, and select ControlsNew Video Clip (or press - —). A New Video Clip window appears, as shown in Figure 24-8.
