Playing Music

You can play your music in a variety of ways, whether the music is from an audio CD or from a collection of digital audio files. To play songs, simply do the following:

  1. Start iTunes.

  2. (Optional) Insert an audio CD into your Macintosh.

  3. Clear the checkboxes of the songs you don't want to hear.

  4. (Optional) Select ControlsShuffleBy Songs, By Albums, or By Groupings to scramble the order in which your songs will play.

  5. Click the play button or press the spacebar. The iTunes program starts playing the song at the top of the list.
