Chapter 12. Controlling Your Macintosh with Hot Corners

Like most computers, your Macintosh provides shortcuts for accessing certain features, and one of the most useful shortcuts is called a hot corner. A hot corner is simply one corner of the screen that makes your Macintosh do something when you move your mouse pointer into that corner.

By using hot corners, you can control your screensaver, put your Macintosh to sleep, hide and display Dashboard programs, and manipulate windows with your mouse. Hot corners provide another way to make your Macintosh easier to use.
