Dragging and Dropping Graphics
You can also copy a picture from one program to another, such as copying an image from a website or from iPhoto and pasting it into a word processor document or an email message.
To copy a picture and paste it into a word processor document or email message, do this:
Start your word processor or email program.
Start Safari (if you want to copy pictures off a web page) or iPhoto (if you want to copy a picture out of your iPhoto collection).
Move the windows of the two programs side by side so both are visible, such as placing the Safari window next to a word processor window, or the iPhoto window next to an email window.
Drag a picture (displayed in Safari or iPhoto) over your word processor or email window.
