Switching Programs and Windows from the Dock

Each time you run a program, its icon appears on the Dock with a blue dot underneath. For example, if you load both the iTunes and iPhoto programs, you'll see dots underneath both the iTunes and iPhoto icons on the Dock.

When you have two or more programs running at the same time, you can switch programs simply by clicking the icon on the Dock that represents the program you want to use. For example, to switch between iTunes and iPhoto, click the iTunes icon on the Dock and the iTunes window appears. Click the iPhoto icon on the Dock and the iPhoto window appears.
