Playlists give you a convenient way to group related songs together, even if they have no apparent connection to anyone but you. You might think a tender ballad by Frank Sinatra fits in perfectly with a heavy metal song by Metallica, so why not add these two songs to the same playlist? In addition to creating your own playlists and listening to tunes from it, you can listen to songs from the same album. That way, you can hear the best songs from a particular album without wasting time listening to the boring stuff on the same album.
