Checking Your iPhone's Usage
By viewing your iPhone usage periodically, you can determine how much battery life you have left before you need to recharge. You can also see how much time you've spent recently talking on the phone and sending and receiving data. This could be useful if you lent your iPhone to your child to do research for school and you want to see if he spent an hour talking on the phone instead.
To view your iPhone usage at a glance, do this:
From the Home screen, tap Settings. The Settings screen appears.
Tap General. The General screen appears.
Tap Usage. The Usage screen appears, as shown in Figure 17-3.
