Putting a Caller on Hold

If you're in the middle of a call and suddenly need to temporarily halt your conversation, you can put the caller on hold by doing this:

  1. Move the iPhone away from your face so you can see its screen.

  2. Tap Hold. The Hold icon appears highlighted.

  3. Tap Hold again to return to your initial conversation.
