Blocking iPad Features
To restrict access to certain iPad features, you use a four-digit passcode. The only way someone (including you) can access these blocked features is by typing the correct four-digit passcode.
Note
The four-digit passcode needed to modify parental controls can (and should) be completely different from the four-digit passcode used to access your iPad, as explained in Chapter 8.
Some of the features that you can block include:
Accessing the Internet with the Safari web browser
Watching YouTube videos
Listening to music through iTunes
Installing and deleting iPad apps
Defining your iPad’s location
Changing email accounts
Making in-app purchases
Playing multiplayer games in Game Center
Adding friends to Game Center
