Synopsis
uudecode [options] [file]
Reads a uuencoded file and recreates the original file with the permissions and name set in the file (see uuencode ).
Options
- -c
Decode multiple files from the input, if possible.
- -i
Do not overwrite files.
-
-o
filename Send output to
filenameinstead of standard output.- -p
Decode file to standard output
- -s
Do not strip pathname. By default, uudecode strips the path of any decoded files.
