Synopsis
The exception
variable is assigned a reference to the subclass of
Throwable
that causes an error page to be invoked.
The Throwable
class is the superclass of all error
and exception classes in the Java language. Only instances of this
class (or of one of its subclasses) are thrown by the Java Virtual
Machine (JVM) or can be thrown by an application using the Java
throw
statement.
