Joseph Schorr (co-author, first two editions), a former Macworld contributing editor, began collaborating with David Pogue in 1982—on musical comedies at Yale. Years later, they co-authored six editions of Macworld Mac Secrets. Now that Joe is a product manager at Apple, he’s technically not supposed to work on books like this. Still, many chapters of this book are based on his original prose.

Rose Cassano (cover illustration) has worked as an independent designer and illustrator for 20 years. Assignments have spanned everything from the nonprofit sector to corporate clientele.
