AuctionAddict.com runs both fixed-price sales and ongoing auctions; ongoing listings have an automatic auction extension feature to discourage sniping. What that means is that if a new bid comes in within 24 hours before an auction's scheduled closing time, AuctionAddict.com automatically extends the auction by another 24 hours from the time of that bid. There's no limit on extensions; they keep going until no more bidding takes place.
