Keywords, Titles, and Event Info

The thumbnails don't have to speak for themselves. You can opt to have helpful text appear beneath each one: its name, its rating, its tags, and so on.

• iPhoto. From the View menu, choose Ratings, Titles, or Keywords to make these text bits appear.

• Picasa. From the View→Thumbnail Caption submenu, specify what you want to appear beneath each thumbnail: Filename, Caption, Tags, or Resolution (the photo's size, in pixels).
