Safari Books Online, founded in 2001 as a joint venture between pre-eminent technology publishers O'Reilly Media, Inc., and Pearson Education, is an on-demand digital library delivering expert content – books, video and more - from the leading authors in technology and business.
Our Campus
Our corporate office is located in beautiful, serene Sebastopol, California. The Company provides an informal work atmosphere, a commitment to work/life balance, and opportunities to learn, work and exchange ideas with some of the best professionals in the industry.
Our buildings are close to an apple orchard and a bike path that is lined with patches of blackberry bushes – which provide a nice snack in the summer months. Our campus comes equipped with a full kitchen – stove, oven, microwave, refrigerators, vending machines, coffee & tea, water, and tables & chairs that look out to our nicely manicured lawn.
If you look closely, you might see a young egret, a gopher, or some squirrels that provide entertainment. Believe it or not, we even have a shower and lockers for those employees who choose to bike, run or play basketball during their lunchtime.
